Photography On The Farm

By entering onto the property of Coppal House Farm, each guest grants Coppal House Farm the right to film, videotape, or photograph them on Coppal House Farm's property for any reason without payment or consideration.  Guests must have written permission to use photographs and/or videotape of Coppal House Farm's images for commercial broadcasting, advertising, marketing or publishing in any medium.

COPPAL HOUSE FARM PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY AND AGREEMENT

 

Coppal House Farm is excited to provide our fields and property as a beautiful backdrop for your photos. We love seeing how differently everyone captures our farm and would like for you to take Coppal House Farm on Facebook & Instagram as well as use our hashtags #coppalhousefarm and #nhsunflower.

 

GENERAL PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDELINES | these guidelines are intended for all guests visiting the farm

  • NO PETS are allowed on the farm at any time. This includes private photography sessions. (This is for the safety of your animal as well as ours.) Service animals (dogs that are trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability) are allowed. We do not allow emotional support animals.

  • No drones allowed! Those caught flying a drone will be asked to forfeit the footage and will be asked to leave the property.

  • No boudoir or nude photography allowed; this is a family friendly farm.

  • Pay attention to all signs and do not go in unauthorized areas.

  • Please be courteous of other guests and allow everyone the same photography opportunities.

  • Do not pick flowers, plants or step off pathways. Do not climb on buildings or equipment without permission.

  • We have many beautiful settings within the property, we are a working farm and scenery can quickly change or no longer become available.

 

NON-PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY | we consider any photos taken with cell phones or simple cameras for personal use and are allowed during regular advertised business hours and the special sunrise event. 

 

PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY & GUIDELINES | we consider any formal photography that a photographer is making money from (ex. engagement, maternity, family portraits, etc.) to be professional/commercial photography.

  • If you are a professional photographer coming during normal festival hours, you do not need to complete a Photography Agreement or pay a site fee but please abide by all guidelines. 

  • If you would like to schedule an after-hours photography session you will be required to request a reservation, complete a Photography Agreement and pay a site fee (in addition to admissions for anyone entering the field).

  • Paying a professional photographer’s fee does not grant exclusive rights or access to our fields. Please be considerate of our privacy and be kind and courteous of others.

  • Coppal House Farm staff have the right to determine if your shoot is considered professional photography and may ask any individuals to suspend their photographic activities.


If you plan to advertise after-hours photography sessions on our farm we ask that you confirm a reservation prior to advertising.

  • Reservations are required for professional photo shoots and must be made at least 48 hours in advance. To schedule a reservation please email Hannah at info@coppalhousefarm.com.

  • After-hours sessions are only offered at 6:30pm Saturday through Saturday of the Sunflower Festival. Photographers must be checked in at the admissions counter by 6:15pm. Admissions payment for all those entering the field is due at that time.

  • Pricing |  The site fee for after-hours sessions is $50.00 for 1 hour ($100.00 for 2 hours), which must be paid prior to reservation. (The site fee is non-refundable.) Admissions is also required for all entering the field - tickets can be purchased in advance online or day of. 

  • Weather | Reservations can be changed or cancelled due to rain or bad weather. Please contact Hannah if you need to reschedule or cancel. 

  • There is no site-fee for professional photographers coming during open business hours. (Sunrise in the Sunflowers is considered open business hours.)

  • Photographers must check in with Coppal House Farm staff at the farm stand before exploring the grounds unattended. Coppal House Farm reserves the right to restrict access to certain areas based on crop production or project needs.

  • Fields are not accessible by vehicle.  Anything being brought to the field must be carried in and carried out.

  • Coppal House Farm assumes no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to any equipment or belongings.

  • Photographers and their clients must respect the fields.  Picking of the flowers/corn is strictly forbidden.

  • If photos are posted online or on social media sites, Coppal House Farm requires location recognition be cited with the post.

  • The copy, reproduction or use of any Coppal House Farm logo (digital or print) is prohibited without written permission from Coppal House Farm.

  • This policy is subject to change without notice.
